Pinnacle are excited to host an informative webinar designed specifically for general practices interested in learning more about the emerging role of Physician Associates (PAs) in New Zealand.

Following the government’s announcement in late April that PAs will soon become a regulated part of the healthcare workforce, now is the perfect time to explore how a PA could support and strengthen your team.

Join us to gain valuable insights into the PA role, understand what regulation means for your practice, and hear how others are preparing to integrate PAs into their workforce.

For more background on the PA profession, visit the New Zealand Physician Associate Society (NZPAS) website.

This webinar will aim to cover:

  • The background to the PA role, who can train as a PA and what the training requirements are.
  • How your practice can thrive, including financially, when you integrate a PA to your team.
  • What team based care looks like with the inclusion of a PA in your practice team.
  • Clinical governance and safety considerations.
  • Experiences from practices that have employed a PA.
  • Attraction, retention and recruitment of PAs.

Hear from:

  • NZPAS,
  • NZ Shores - Recruitment and immigration partners,
  • Katie Latimer (Pinnacle deputy CEO) and Jo Scott-Jones (Pinnacle clinical director), and
  • Practices in the Pinnacle network

There will be a recording of a session made available on the Pinnacle website for those that are unable to make either of the times below.
