Taranaki DHB is offering a professional development course in safeguarding older and vulnerable adults.
This training is open to all clinical staff working with older and vulnerable adults that are required to demonstrate competence in responding to people at risk of experiencing abuse. The training is based on the new TDHB safeguarding older adults and vulnerable adults policy.
It is recommended (not a pre-requisite) that staff completes the Ko Awatea e-learning module regarding safeguarding older and vulnerable adults.
