As part of our ongoing emergency preparedness planning, Pinnacle has upgraded our text message notification system. On Friday 12 February we will send a test text message to the nominated emergency contacts for each practice. The message will ask you to reply Y, to confirm you have successfully received the message. We will follow up with practices who do not reply, to ensure we have the correct emergency contacts on file.
In future this system will allow us to send urgent notification to practices in emergency situations. We need to have at least one emergency contact per practice, who can cascade the message to other practice staff as needed. However, all practice owners and managers are invited to be on the emergency contact list.
