Many activities performed by primary care nurses are non-patient facing and not always obvious to those not directly involved. This work includes recalling patients for routine screening, entering data onto the PMS, managing nurse inboxes, telephone triage, service claiming, maintaining and following policies, continuing professional development and more. Primary care is multifaceted and fast moving. Keeping up with everything is challenging.
The nursing team at Pinnacle want to support all primary care nurses within the organisation by facilitating education sessions discussing some of these topics.
