Healthpoint’s comprehensive national general practice and A&E directory

Tairāwhiti | Lakes | Taranaki | Waikato | Clinical | Management | 04/11/2024

Te Whatu Ora is now supporting all general practices and accident and urgent care centres across Aotearoa to publish comprehensive service information on Healthpoint.

This will mean:

  • patients and whānau anywhere in Aotearoa can access current, comprehensive general practice information, without needing to contact frontline staff
  • general practices can better connect to their community regarding their services, enrolment, fees and staff
  • Te Whatu Ora and other sector partners will use the information on Healthpoint for insights, planning and promotional purposes, reducing duplication of information sharing for frontline staff
  • the Healthpoint team are now contacting practices and accident and urgent care centres across the country, working with them to include comprehensive information on their Healthpoint profile.

If you would like to learn more about the work happening at Healthpoint or if your practice would like support with your Healthpoint profile, please contact Rhonda Dames.
