HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is a daily oral tablet that, when taken as prescribed, can greatly reduce HIV infections as part of a combination prevention strategy.

This programme is also funded for casual patients who may be referred to you via another service or may be drop ins. In these cases, you can only invoice for this service and no other offset can be claimed. Clinicians wishing to use this service are required to complete the Australasian Society for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine (ASHM) course. This will take approximately two hours and you will be eligible for CME.
