Ministry of Health and National Immunisation Register reminders

With flu season approaching, the Ministry of Health and the National Immunisation Register (NIR) want to support practices to be prepared and help improve efficiency.

  • Please ensure your 'provider' is the GP and not the nurse. This error cannot be manually fixed and requires having to fax errors back to the clinic to be corrected.
  • Please let the NIR know if you have a new GP or nurse joining your practice, even if they are locums.
