Getting reinfected with COVID-19

The Ministry of Health has updated its guidance on testing for reinfection of COVID-19 in light of increasing local and international evidence that reinfections can occur earlier than 90 days after a first infection.

Previous Ministry guidelines (issued 5 May) recommended no further testing within 90 days of a prior infection. The period for no further testing has now reduced to 28 days.

Read more about COVID-19 reinfection on the Ministry of Health website.
