Help shape primary health care for almost 500,000 people across Waikato, Lakes, Tairāwhiti and Taranaki.
The Midlands Regional Health Network Charitable Trust (MRHNCT) is inviting expressions of interest for one community representative to join its eight-member Board. Guided by Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a strong focus on equity, the Board partners with communities and providers to improve access, experience and outcomes across our region.
We’re looking for an engaged community member (patients/whānau, not practice staff) who brings local insight, cultural competency and clear judgement to thoughtful, sometimes complex discussions. Governance experience is helpful, and financial or business acumen is an advantage.
You’ll attend a minimum of four meetings a year, held around the region or online. Meeting fees are paid and reasonable expenses reimbursed. Appointments are for two years and may be renewed for up to three consecutive terms. To be eligible, you must be enrolled with a Midlands Health Network practice and not be employed by MHN or an entity that provides professional services to MHN.
Email Liz Miller or phone 027 876 3427 for next steps.
Applications close: 5pm, Thursday 20 November 2025.
