Pinnacle is running a series of LARCs education evenings across the region in March 2026. These sessions are open to all clinical general practice staff and will offer introductory training on the insertion of both Mirena and Jadelle contraception devices, alongside the use of ring pessaries.

This Taranaki education series is designed to strengthen collaboration between general practice teams and Extended Care Team specialists. In this session learn about the role and scope of the clinical pharmacist in the Extended Care Team, common themes in referrals, geriatric pharmacy and more.

Across the country, GP owners are facing similar pressures around succession, governance, workforce, and practice value. This session focuses on practical exit options and what good preparation looks like.
