This study day is for people working at the “proficient diabetes nurse” level on the knowledge and skills framework for diabetes nurses. Hosted in conjunction with Hauraki PHO, National Hauora Coalition, Pinnacle and Waikato DHB.

They have been scheduled fortnightly on a Wednesday from 10am–12pm. To participate, you'll need a computer with webcam and mic capability.
Taranaki DHB Diabetes Service team, in association with Pinnacle, are providing an opportunity for practice nurses to connect with Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialists and other health professionals working in diabetes care to build skills in advanced diabetes management in our province.
In lieu of the usual study days that have been part of the New Zealand Society for the Study of Diabetes (NZSSD) conference in recent years, there will be a series of monthly webinars. This means that participants can choose to “attend” all the special interest education instead of having to choose prior to conference.
