B4 School Check refresher course (1-hour session) for registered nurse providers who have previously completed the two-day B4SC training.

An opportunity to bring any questions you might have around individual indicators and what is needed to meet them. It'll also be an opportunity to learn from other Pinnacle practice colleagues and Pinnacle staff.

The Ministry of Health has introduced standards for B4SC training, recommending 24 hours of initial training for new B4SC nurses. The assessments as well as supervised practice makes up for the hours uncounted. This training is for Waikato region only.

The objective of this programme is to facilitate the development of the preceptor role in the clinical teaching environment, learning and assessment of students, new graduate nurses and new staff members. Both study days must be attended to complete the programme.
