Leadership and management education opportunity
As a result of the 2023 Pinnacle MHN workforce survey, and a short leadership survey in January, a need was identified by leaders in our network of practices to access leadership and management training.
We have been in discussions with our tertiary sector partners at the University of Waikato and are exploring the following schedule of papers. These will be delivered in a collaborative arrangement between the Division of Health and the School of Management.
- Leading in healthcare
- Managing people
- Making the most of health data
- Healthcare innovation
If you are in a leadership or management role in your practice, and would be interested in this opportunity, we want to hear from you!
We would like to survey the network to explore the preferred approach between the two options below.
- Delivery option 1: Online weekly tutorials (recorded) with additional online content, delivered over the semester.
- Delivery option 2: Face-to-face teaching session (around eight hours) with some additional online content.
