Pinnacle has covered the device cost of eight Butterfly IQ probes ($2,999 each) that are available to loan free of charge for any Pinnacle GPs who can commit to the annual Butterfly IQ membership licence of $680.00 (excl GST) until 2025.
Please note, you will also need a compatible smart phone or tablet to use the Butterfly iQ device.
All point of care ultrasound (POCUS) users are encouraged to attend Pinnacle’s monthly POCUS virtual peer group session led by Dr Michael Miller.
POCUS involves the use of a handheld ultrasound device as a diagnostic tool in primary care, an approach increasingly used worldwide by doctors in rural general practice and emergency care.
Read about how Pinnacle GPs are using POCUS in rural practices.
This opportunity is on a first come, first served basis.
