ACC has launched a new medical certification dashboard, replacing the previous 'Your ACC Dashboard' reports as part of a move toward greater transparency in data sharing.
The dashboard allows certifying providers to review and benchmark their certification and return-to-work data against peers, segmented by injury type, age group, ethnicity, and more, to help support better patient outcomes.
This comes in response to trends showing people are taking longer to recover and return to work, with data also highlighting variation in 'fit for selected work' and 'fully unfit' certifications across similar injury types.
Using the dashboard for self-audit also contributes to RNZCGP CPD points, with additional features including broader date ranges and more comparison options planned for April 2026. Read more about how to access and use the dashboard on the ACC website.
Otorohanga Medical has experienced a steady rise in the number of patients accessing their patient portal since beginning their push in September 2018.
