Eating disorders are serious mental illnesses and can often come out of the blue for families. Eating disorders can put enormous stress on every aspect of family life.
The Yellow Brick Road family eating disorder support group is a safe and supportive environment for family and carers to get together and discuss with other families who are going through similar situations strategies that worked for them, solutions to challenges, self-care, recommended reading, podcasts and websites that others have found useful.
A group is held on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 7:00pm-8:30pm at Yellow Brick Road, 128 Devon Street East, Taranaki.
