Once and For All stop smoking service

Overview

The Once and For All stop smoking service is available to anyone who resides in Waikato who smokes and wants help to quit can access free face to face behavioural support to stop smoking. Patients can access free nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) from the service.   

This is a referral service only. It is not a claimable service. 

This is NOT a clinical guideline.

Which practices can refer to this service?

All practices in the Te Whatu Ora Waikato region can refer to this service. 

Who is eligible for the service?

Anyone that smokes and is eligible for New Zealand funded health care. Priority is given to Māori and Pacific, pregnant women and people with mental illness. 

Referral guidelines

This is not a claimable service; this is a free service that you can refer patients to.

Referrals can be made via MedTech advanced form or online form. 

Does the patient have to pay?

No.

How is the service funded?

The service is funded directly by the Ministry of Health.
