Education/information evening: Management of abnormal uterine bleeding and ring pessary insertions

This education / information evening is open to all clinical general practice staff and relates to the two new pathways in Tairāwhiti.

We will provide light refreshments from 5.30pm and the programme will start at 6.00pm.

The evening will cover

  • Sean Pocock – Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Gisborne Hospital.

  • Elsa Gordon – Pelvic health physiotherapist.

  • Updated guidelines.

  • What is funded under the programmes and how claims can be made.

Please advise Sally Newell if you have any dietary requirements.

Due to a staff vacancy, less Sexual Health Clinic appointments are currently available. Referrals from general practice are still welcomed, but please be aware patients requiring biopsy may need to be waitlisted for service. Alternatively they could be referred to other services such as dermatology, gynaecology or urology. View the updated opening hours here.
