The scope of practice for enrolled nurses in Aotearoa New Zealand has recently changed.
Wintec has been delivering the Enrolled Nurse Programme for over 10 years. In response to the updated scope, the curriculum has been revised in collaboration with education providers across New Zealand. Despite this, the role and function of enrolled nurses and enrolled nurse students can still be unclear and not well understood.
In this session, Annene Bosman, enrolled nurse programme lead at Wintec, will provide an overview of the updated curriculum and explore how these changes support integration of the role in general practice. There will also be an opportunity to have your questions addressed.
