A unique opportunity to learn from global leaders in the field, exchange knowledge, and shape the future of female pelvic mesh injury management and pelvic reconstruction.
This national symposium, hosted by the New Zealand Female Pelvic Mesh Service (NZFPMS), brings together leading clinicians, researchers, and patient advocates from Aotearoa, Australia and the UK to improve the care of people affected by surgical mesh procedures for stress urinary incontinence (SUI) and pelvic organ prolapse (POP).
General practitioners and practice nurses play a pivotal role in early recognition, referral, and ongoing support for those experiencing mesh-related complications. This symposium offers an important opportunity to strengthen primary care knowledge, confidence, and care pathways in this complex area of women’s health.
Attendance is encouraged from general practitioners, practice nurses, nurse practitioners, GP registrars and early carer GPs, as this area of practice continues to evolve and demands a multidisciplinary, patient-centred response.
