Taranaki Study Day: Free pre-eclampsia and GAP refresher

Taranaki: Education Centre, Level 3 Taranaki Base Hospital

Taranaki midwives, in partnership with NZAPEC and the Perinatal Institute, invite you to a free interactive study day to refresh and expand your knowledge around pre-eclampsia and growth assessment protocol (GAP).

The session will cover:

  • pre-eclampsia pathophysiology
  • risk factors
  • investigations
  • aspirin and calcium use
  • postnatal considerations
  • future health.

The GAP component includes:

  • recognition of SGA/FGR
  • guideline updates
  • fundal height measurement
  • practical use of the GROW app.

This event is kindly funded by NZCOM Taranaki. Please bring a plate to share for morning or afternoon tea.
