From 9-13 April 2026, rural healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, and community leaders from around the world will gather in Wellington to exchange knowledge, spark innovation, and strengthen the global rural health community. Registration is now open for this event dedicated to rural health.

This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to become an authorised vaccinator. It includes self-guided online study (14 hours), followed by this practical workshop (4 hours).

The Ministry of Health has introduced standards for B4SC training, recommending 24 hours of initial training for new B4SC nurses. The assessments as well as supervised practice makes up for the hours uncounted. This training is for Waikato region only.
