IMAC has been advised that a number of Comirnaty 30mcg vaccine batch lots have been recorded incorrectly in AIR and PMS.
For the new Comirnaty 30mcg prefilled syringe, please note that the PAA reference is a packaging reference code, not the vaccine batch number. The batch number and expiry can be difficult to read on the syringe, but it is always the same as on the box.
The lot number should be used when recording the batch of the Comirnaty 30mcg vaccine.
Please check you have been recording the correct lot numbers and correct in PMS or AIR if necessary.
