Te Whatu Ora has introduced free listings for graduate registered nurse roles on Te Whatu Ora's careers site and funding remains available to support graduate registered nurse employment in primary and community care.
With Kiwi Health Jobs decommissioned in July and no direct replacement, Te Whatu Ora has introduced interim measures to help connect graduate registered nurses (RNs) with primary and community healthcare employers.
Current supports
Free vacancy listings: Graduate RN roles can now be listed free of charge on Te Whatu Ora's careers website.
Graduate RN webpage: A dedicated page links graduates directly to primary and community care vacancies and provides key information.
Email careers@tewhatuora.govt.nz with the following attached.

Job description (attach to your email as a Word document).
Organisation logo (PNG file – only required the first time you list).
Once received, vacancies will be published on the careers page within two business days, and you’ll be sent a live link. This service is available for New Zealand-trained graduate RN roles across primary and community healthcare providers.
Funding remains available to support the employment of up to 400 Graduate RNs per year in primary and community care:
$15,000 per urban graduate RN
$20,000 per rural graduate RN

Te Pae Tata was launched by the health minister in Taupō last week. It is the first New Zealand Health Plan published under the new Pae Ora legislation.
