Survey: Adult vaccination practices in Aotearoa

Lakes | Taranaki | Waikato | Tairāwhiti | Clinical | 09/09/2025

The University of Otago is inviting health professionals who administer adult vaccinations in Aotearoa New Zealand to take part in a short survey. The research team wants to understand when and why longer 38mm needles are, or are not, used for adults with larger body types.

Findings will help improve vaccination practices to ensure effective care for all body types.

The survey is anonymous and takes around 10–15 minutes to complete. Participants will go into the draw to win a $100 voucher.

For more information, contact Dr Lesley Grey, Associate Professor. This survey is approved by the University of Otago Human Ethics Committee (ref D21/414, 2025).
