Te Whatu Ora is exploring the use of an AI-supported symptom checker to help people navigate health services.
The tool would guide users to the most appropriate care based on their symptoms and provide clinicians with a summary to support faster, more effective treatment. It will complement, not replace, clinical decision-making.
