The Pinnacle offices will close to a skeleton staff from 5pm, Friday 22 December and re-open on Monday 8 January 2024.
Finance: The finance team will be on leave between Monday 25 December and Friday 5 January. Due to the office closure all payments due to be paid on Friday 5 January, including project and primary option claims, will be paid on Monday 22 January.
Primary options: The primary options team will not be available between Friday 22 December and Wednesday 3 January.
Extended care team: Closed from Friday 22 December until Monday 8 January.
Primary mental health: The primary mental health team will stop triaging referrals and will not see clients between Friday 22 December and Monday 8 January. A reminder, this is not an urgent service and crisis team intervention is recommended if risk assessment reveals safety concerns.
The Taranaki office will be closed from Friday 22 December and will reopen on Monday 8 January.
Extended care team: We will temporarily close the referral pathway for the extended care team from Friday 15 December to Monday 29 January. This is to allow time for staff to have a break, update our BPAC referral and respond to the patient referrals we have already received from you.
Primary mental health: The primary mental health team will not be triaging referrals between Friday 22 December and Monday 8 January. This is a mandatory closure of Pinnacle offices across all localities for non-essential services.
A reminder this is not an urgent service and recommend crisis team intervention if risk assessment reveals safety concerns.
Dr Tony Muller, Consultant Psychiatrist will be on leave 9 January but available 10 January onwards. His Pinnacle days are Tuesday and Wednesday only.
Child health: The child health team will close between Friday 22 December and Monday 8 January.
Cold chain and immunisation: Helen Ride, Waikato immunisation facilitator, will be on leave from 4pm, Friday 22 December until 8am, Monday 9 January. During this time however, Helen will be online answering emails and available for phone calls between 9-10am on each of the working days. Pam Rudolph, child immunisation improvement nurse, will be on leave from 4pm, Friday 22 December until Monday 22 January. Helen will provide cover while Pam is away.

Support to screening: Referrals for the cervical screening outreach team will close Friday 8 December and reopen Monday 22 January.
School-based health services: The school-based health services team team will close between Friday 22 December and Monday 8 January. Outside of this there will always be someone available for queries. School clinic closures are dependent on the varied close and open dates of the individual kura/school sites.
