Referral criteria clarification
Following recent queries from a number of practices, the B4 School team has engaged with the National Public Health Service (NPHS) Waikato, for clarification.
Public Health Nursing (PHN) leads have confirmed that only tamariki who meet all of the following criteria are eligible for referral.
Age: 4 years, 3 months to 4 years, 10 months.
Ethnicity: Māori and/or Pasifika.
This means referrals will only be accepted for children who meet both criteria. For any further queries, please contact the B4 School coordinator on 027 201 8240 or Public Health Nursing Waikato on 07 838 3565.
