Two training arms for practising IV cannulation are available exclusively for Pinnacle network practice clinical staff.
This resource supports skill development and confidence in IV cannulation in a safe practice environment.
It is recommended that all staff using cannulation simulation equipment, will have completed prior learning (such as this provided via Ko Awatea Learn or other recommended IV cannulation training courses).
If you would like to arrange access and book a time to use the training arm, please contact the Pinnacle nurse leads via the details below. There is no charge for the loan of the arm.
The Pinnacle offices in Hamilton and Taranaki host one training arm each, available for loan. If you're based in the Lakes or Tairāwhiti regions, we can arrange delivery and return.
Please note that courier costs may apply.
