Pinnacle Practice Portal

The Pinnacle Practice Portal is rolling out to all practices 1 October.

We are thrilled to share that the Pinnacle Practice Portal is now ready to be rolled out to all Pinnacle practices, following a successful pilot with seven nominated practices.

This new platform has been developed in response to your feedback. It is part of our ongoing commitment to support practices with tools that offer transparency, ease of access, and streamlined communication.

What is the Pinnacle Practice Portal?

A secure, centralised platform designed to help Pinnacle practices:

  • View the current status of PHO claims
  • Reconcile payments more efficiently
  • Access and download remittance reports and other payment files (e.g. Capitation, Quality Improvement Programme) in one place
  • Upload documents securely to share with Pinnacle
  • View claims for Stop Smoking and Support to Screening services (if applicable to your practice)
Pilot phase highlights

The three-week pilot concluded on 8 August and generated great feedback from participating practices, including:

  • “This is great!”
  • “Easier to use than Healthlink – simple login. Can see the benefits of it ongoing.”
  • “The claims portal has completely changed the claiming process for me, in a good way! My favourite part of the claims portal is being able to see why a particular claim has been declined.”
  • “Awesome to have this located in one area for claims management.”
  • “This is fantastic! Congratulations to you and the team on such an incredible achievement. It’s clear a lot of work has gone into developing this, and it’s exciting to see it coming to all practices after a successful pilot.”

We have incorporated valuable feedback and made enhancements to ensure a smooth experience for all practices.

Access and support

  • All practices will have access to the portal from 1 October 2025.
  • A user guide and training video are available under the Help menu in the portal to support users every step of the way.
  • For the month of October 2025, you will receive remittance and payment files via the current method (email/Healthlink) and via the portal.
  • From November 2025, files will only be available via the portal. Once the files are available in the portal, you will receive an email notification.

Current data status

The portal includes Primary Options data from the past three years, with the most recent 18 months readily accessible and earlier data available via manual date filtering.

Note for non-Indici practices: there is a one-month delay in Primary Options claims visibility as processed claims are migrated post-payment.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the pilot’s success. We are excited to extend this platform to the wider network and welcome your ongoing feedback.
