All Pinnacle practices can now use the new Practice Portal — a secure, easy-to-use hub for claims, remittance reports, payment files, and sharing documents, designed to save time and give you clearer oversight.

Current data status
In response to practice feedback, the updated capitation remittance format has now been implemented, and column totals are included.
Following feedback about delays in receiving email PINs, our platform provider is introducing Microsoft Authenticator MFA, with release planned for 9 June 2026. More information will be shared closer to the release.
In the interim, an optional SMS PIN login is available for practices wanting a faster login experience. Standard SMS charges apply. If you would like to enable this option, please contact practice.support@pinnacle.health.nz.
All payment and remittance files will now be available in the Practice Portal on the same day payments are processed by our finance team. Thank you for your feedback on the importance of timely access to these files — it directly informed this improvement. Following is the typical monthly schedule for payment file uploads.
Please note, if files are provided earlier, they will be uploaded earlier. Scheduled dates will shift to the next business day when they fall on a weekend or public holiday.
Practices can now preview documents directly in the portal without downloading them first. An “eye” icon has been added next to each document to open a preview window, with the option to download from the preview if required.
