Good4Work is a free online workplace wellbeing tool. It is for small-medium sized workplaces, and any business getting started with workplace wellbeing. It is designed to be used by anyone who understands their workplace’s environment, structure and practices, and can make a difference.
Good4Work’s step-by-step process helps you complete actions to change your workplace environment and culture. It focuses on four areas: the way we work, the place we work, the way we connect, and the way we lead.
WorkSafe is New Zealand’s primary workplace health and safety regulator. More than 500 staff based across New Zealand are working to lift health and safety performance, supporting New Zealanders to return home from work healthy and safe.
EAP Services Limited is New Zealand’s leading employee assistance programme provider, committed to supporting organisations to enhance the wellbeing and performance of their staff. EAP is a well-respected organisation, providing counselling and advice to employees either by face-to-face, phone or virtual e-counselling.
Practice staff in Pinnacle practices are entitled to up to three FREE one-hour sessions per issue with a counsellor. This can be for a work related issue or a personal situation. All practice staff members are eligible to this benefit regardless of their position or tenure.
Under the Pinnacle agreement with EAP Services, you, and the staff in your practice, are entitled to up to three FREE one-hour sessions per issue with a counsellor. This can be for a work related issue or a personal situation.
The service is completely confidential and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Pinnacle will not be informed of your contact with EAP.

RESOURCE: Supporting your natural resilience following an act of violence
We can experience a range of emotions from grief to anger to fear when hearing reports of unpredictable, senseless violence against innocent people. These emotions can deepen with each new report. The violence may have occurred in your community, or to someone you know, or come into your world via the media.
EAP has created a resource (linked below) with information and strategies to help manage difficult feelings following an act of violence.
The Medical Assurance Society New Zealand (MAS) provides web-based business support tailored to general practice. This service is called HealthyPractice and is available 24/7.
MAS provides subscribers with unlimited access to resources to assist with:
