If you are a practice with a HIP, please use this funded service for your patients. For patients outside the target population of Māori, Pacific, youth and low income (Community Services Card Holder) target populations, please consider other options available such as the following.
Counselling
If you need help with counselling fees or transport to counselling, Work and Income may be able to pay this as part of a Disability Allowance.

Use this form if you need a client number, or can't find your existing client number. It's easy and takes about five minutes.
The Healthpoint website can be used to find local providers of mental health, addiction and social services.

The Te Tumu Waiora integrated mental health and wellbeing service has been up and running in general practices in Taupō and Tūrangi since July 2019. The response from practices and the community has been overwhelmingly positive.
